Bereavement is a natural process in life. You cannot avoid grief after a loved-one dies. You must undergo the stages of grief.
Grief and loss are natural, not negative. Grieving should last one year. There are five stages of grief that one needs to go through during that year. Throughout the year, there will be “anniversaries.” Birthday, traditions, memories of special days in the past. Each anniversary requires remembering and grieving the loss of that person on that special day.
When a person does not move through the stages of grief, they can get stuck. Stuck grieving can last for many, many years after the death of a loved one. This treatment can help someone release whatever is stuck and move past the loss of their loved one.
